Joanne Harding is a professional, classically trained singer with a lyric coloratura soprano voice.
She is a very versatile and
sensitive musician and her repertoire is rich and varied, spanning from early to contemporary classical music.
Joanne is a graduate of Music Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and of Music Education from Trinity College, Dublin and the College of Music, Dublin (Conservatory of Music and Drama).
She has performed as soloist with numerous choirs and orchestral ensembles throughout Dublin, Ireland, and abroad, in Europe and America. She also features as soloist for albums of classical and Irish music and for radio, tv, for film and for online broadcasts.
Joanne sings with the professional choir of St Teresa’s in Clarendon st, Dublin, with director of music, Ronan McDonagh and conductor, Grainne Gormley.
Joanna has been the recipient of various competitions and scholarships for singing including prizes for lieder competitions within Ireland and scholarships for masterclasses in Europe and for her Masters in the RIAM.
Recent performances include a lunch time recital in the National Concert Hall, with concert pianist, Pádhraic O’Cuinneagain, the Bloom Flower Festival, and as guest soloist for numerous concerts with Diva Voces, the Third Day Chorale, the Amici Singers, and Mullingar Choral Society.
